Have Food Will Travel

This week is a bit of a hodgepodge (love that word!) of food based on orders I have already received for Labor Day weekend food.
Chicken Enchiladas with Roasted Poblano Cream Sauce with Tomato & Corn Salsa

Bowtie pasta, diced cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, calamata olives & herbs tossed in a red wine vinaigrette.

Party Girl's Chicken Salad
Perfectly seasoned, slow roasted chicken tossed and nothing but a bit of celery & mayo. You can make a sandwich with it, or my personal favorite - on a plate with slices of vine ripe tomatoes!

Take Off FRIDAY Penne Alla Vodka & Caesar Salad

In conjunction with another event I'm doing this week - I'll be repeating a recent (and quite popular) T.O.T.- However this week, we'll be taking off Friday! I'll be using loads of vine ripe tomatoes to make a delicious and flavorful Vodka Sauce served over Penne Pasta. Crisp romaine lettuce, homemade croutons and Caesar Dressing are the perfect accompaniment!

T.O.T August 13th Grilled Steak Tostadas with Southwestern Slaw & Salsa Verde

Every now and then I get emails from people as soon as they've finished their T.O.T meal saying how much they enjoyed the food. That's when I know I've hit a home run. This was one of those meals! What better time to bring it back - especially as many of us are back in the hustle and bustle of back to school activity!

Grilled Steak Tostadas with Southwestern Slaw &
Salsa Verde
Flour tortilla flash fried, a blend of Mexican cheeses, marinated grilled flank steak topped with a tangy slaw made from a trio of cabbage, snow peas & apples in a lime crema and served with Salsa Verde. It will delight every single taste bud in your mouth!
