Guess what?

Halloween is exactly one week from today,
 which only means one thing in my mind - November is right around the corner! Truly my FAVORITE time of the year!
  Oh yeah....Thanksgiving is a month away.

Time for turkey all the trimmings & yummy holiday food!

Just a quick reminder (since my post went out late this week) 
to order before 10 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Just simple goodness, black beans seasoned and simmered to perfection!

It was a dark stormy night
Lots of thunder and lightening
The power was out
And it sure was frightening!

Dinner by candlelight
We waited and waited
No power yet
So sleep we debated

We all snuggled down
In the living room for the night
Huddled together
Waiting for light

When what to our waking eyes
Did we see?
In our master bedroom…
A 100 foot poplar tree!

It made quite a mess
And we were all scared
But the good news?
Indeed…the kitchen was spared!

 
Didn’t want y'all to think I had run off to the tropics for the summer!
We are ALL fine – nothing a wrecking crew and a good builder can’t fix!
But I did want you to know why you won’t see T.O.T posts for a few weeks.
I am still cooking – taking special orders for right now, so let me know if you need anything. I will be back on Thursdays before you know it!
