Anybody hungry?

Wondering what's been cooking in the kitchen lately?

Not much...I got a little sick during the holidays, sentencing me (not my choice) to several weeks off my feet. Haven't been benched for that long since mandatory bedrest while pregnant with my littlest one! So, my darling husband stepped up and took over the roll as "chef".

After a couple of weeks of daddy's cooking (hamburgers, tacos, breakfast for dinner, etc.) - Maddie came in and sat down on the sofa with me, snuggled up and said "Mama, when are going to feel good enough to cook again? I'm ready for some normal food." So I asked her what she deemed "normal food".

Her answer: Chicken Francese, Seared Tuna on Somen Noodle Cakes, oh - and your Noodles with Beef in Thai Peanut Sauce, French Onion Soup.....Sure, what every 10 year old wants.

Happy to be up and at it again! So for T.O.T, a favorite of yours happens to be a favorite of ours as well- which I personally have been craving. And so it is:

Party Girl's Chicken Salad
Perfectly seasoned, slow roasted chicken tossed with nothing but a bit of celery and mayo. 10.00 per pound (enough for a couple of sandwiches)

French Onion Soup
Caramelized Onions swimming in a deep, rich broth with a splash of wine. Topped with a lightly toasted slice of French baguette and shredded Gruyere cheese (included). Layers of delicious flavors! 8.00 per serving (appr. 15 oz)

Please place your order no later than Wednesday February 2nd at 10 a.m. Pick up is any time after 12 noon on Thursday February 3rd. Looking forward to seeing you!
